"Learning Clock Time for Children" features seven lessons designed for children aged 5 to 9. Each lesson includes a training component complemented by interactive games.

Lesson 1: FULL HOURS
1.1 Understanding: What is a clock used for?
1.2 Introduction to Clocks: Explanation of the clock face, minute hand, and hour hand.
1.3 Understanding Digital Clocks
1.4 Full Hours: Explanation of reading whole hours on an analog clock.
Includes 4 games.

Lesson 2: A DAY HAS 24 HOURS
2.1 Understanding: A day consists of 24 hours (the hour hand completes two rotations in one day, switching between day and night).
2.2 Try It: Children move the hands on the clock face, revealing images at each hour (e.g., breakfast, going to school, studying, lunch, etc.).

Lesson 3: QUARTERS
3.1 Understanding: Dividing a cake – explaining half an hour by dividing a cake into two parts (whole and half) without introducing the concept of 30 minutes initially.
3.2 Understanding: Half an hour – learning to identify half an hour on the clock face.
3.3 Understanding: How many minutes are in half an hour? (Children count the minutes in half an hour).

Lesson 4: QUARTERS
4.1 Understanding: Dividing a cake – explaining a quarter hour using one-fourth of a cake.
4.2 Understanding: Quarter hour – familiarization with quarter-hour markings on the clock face.
4.3 Understanding: How many minutes are in a quarter hour? (Children count the minutes in a quarter hour).

Lesson 5: MINUTES
(Focusing on phrases like "It is six hours and forty minutes.")
5.1 Understanding: "Minutes" – explanation of minutes on an analog clock with hands; 1 hour equals 60 minutes.
5.2 Understanding: "Reading Minutes" – children press a button to see how time changes on the clock.
5.3 Understanding: "Seconds" – explanation of what the third thin hand represents on the clock.

Lesson 6: OTHER WAYS TO READ TIME
6.1 Two Methods of Telling Time – Teaching time in verbal form (e.g., "twenty to four" instead of "three hours and forty minutes").
Includes 6 games.

Games:
1. TRY IT - Move the hands, and images will show what happens at that time.
2. SET THE HANDS - Set the analog clock to 3:20 (conversion from analog to digital time).
3. TEST - Four clock faces will appear; the task is to identify which shows, for example, 11:45.
4. SET DIGITAL CLOCK - Adjust the time on the digital clock according to the analog clock (conversion from digital to analog).
5. MATCH IMAGES - Select two matching images that correspond to time concepts.
6. COUNT - An analog clock shows the time, and players must count:
a) how many minutes remain until the next full hour
b) how many hours until midnight (note day/night indicators).

MOVING THE HANDS – It is easier to move the minute hand by guiding it around the outer edge of the clock face rather than touching it directly.
